10th Avenue Townhomes are located in the Fourth Ward. This small community was built in 1981 and only has 10 units. Most of the units in the building comprise of the same type floor plan. Fifth and Poplar is comprised of 1 bedroom 1 bath, 2 bedroom 2 bath and a few 3 bedroom 3 baths. Most of the units have hardwood floors, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Units also have nice sized balconies.

Fifth and Poplar is truly resort style living in an urban environment. Along with the concierge service, Fifth and Poplar features one of the nicest courtyards in Uptown Charlotte. There is almost an entire acre that features manicured lawns and shrubs. No other condo development in Charlotte has a courtyard of this magnitude. The courtyard also has a pet friendly area as well as a pool and gas grill.

Fourth Ward Square is located in the 4th Ward right off of Graham Street.  These condos were were converted into condos from apartments in 2009.  There are a total of 5 different floor plans to choose from.  The units range from 1 bedroom 1 bath to 2 bedroom 2 bath.

Some units are as small as 560 Sq Ft and as large as 1212 Sq Ft.  The amenities include a salt water pool, rooftop terrace, fitness center and a wide screen television in the common area.  Fourth Ward Square Condos offers a great location at a great price.

Frederick Place

The Frederick place condominiums were apartments that were converted into Condominiums. This complex consists of 23 units while standing 3 stories. The Frederick Place condominiums have one bedroom and two bedroom units. The amenities include a security gate, wood terrace/patio on the roof and elevator access.

Gateway Lofts

Gateway Lofts was completed in 2001 and is located at 710 W Trade Street in the city's vibrant Fourth Ward. Residents have a secured parking deck and entrance, in addition to a number of perks such as a swimming pool, outdoor grills, common area, and a community terrace with a vast balcony featuring great views of Charlotte.

The balconies at Gateway Plaza are pleasantly large in size, something you don't see very often in today's condo construction. It is doubtful that when Joseph Benjamin Ivey built his department store in 1924 he ever conceived that a number of Charlotte's families would move in and call the place home. With the Ivey's sitting right on Tyron St. there is probably no place you can live in Charlotte that puts you closer to the action.
