As any downtown resident can tell you, parking is almost always a hassle. When there was an open lot in the First Ward, the first idea was to turn it into a parking garage. However, architect David Furman saw the potential for a condominum development, and took advantage of the property's sloping grade to build an underground parking garage for residents.

Cityview Lofts were built in 2004 and boast 25 units in the heart of the First Ward's Garden District.
